In the business sector "photovoltaic and solar mounting systems" MAGE Gehring GmbH is involved, amongst other things, in the development and production of frames for solar and photovoltaik modules. Special frames are extruded from different aluminium alloys and with various cross sections. According to customers' wishes these frames are anodised in different colours, subjected to further mechanical processing (mitre cut, fitting of attachment holes, punching of water drainage openings) and sometimes pre-assembled. Different joining elements were developed for this purpose to permit joints without adhesive and without screw connections.
All kinds of frames and window bars for solar panels are also developed and produced. With a highly complex clip technology the developments of MAGE Gehring GmbH also permit high-strength joining of the frames and the window bar without additional adhesive or screw connections. Many years of know-how, extremely tight production tolerances, the use of special aluminium alloys etc. guarantee the high-strength joints. The production of aluminium frames for solar panels from a single workpiece is unique.
