Schneider, Ebenthal, Austria. The authorised share capital is EURO 3,343,500.00. MAGE Industrie Holding AG is a shareholding company not traded on the stock exchange and owning several companies. The sole shareholder is Dr. Manfred Gehring, Freudenstadt, Germany.

The trade in various products for exterior insulation finishing systems and dry walling started in 1993. In the middle of 1993 the production and sale of energy-saving accessories for exterior insulation finishing systems for the energy-efficient insulation of buildings was rapidly started. The first products of MAGE Gehring GmbH were various fabric angle brackets. For this purpose the existing production hall was expanded in 1995. Since a relative large amount of aluminium profiles is used in this sector, the first aluminium extruder with 12 MN was commissioned in 1995/1996. Another production hall was commissioned for this purpose in 1996. Various patents and trademarks secure the business sector "Accessories for exterior insulation finishing systems". Since 1999 this business sector is complemented by innovative assembly fixings for exterior insulation finishing systems.

The existing production halls were further expanded in 1998, and the capacity of this aluminium extruder continued to be extended, with the sector "Aluminium extrusion" now being a significant second pillar of MAGE Gehring GmbH, supplying various industries with aluminium extrusion profiles, e.g. the furniture, ironmongery, solar panel, photovoltaic industries etc.

The spatial capacity has been adapted in recent years by purchasing property and expanding buildings, so that today an area of approx. 20,000 sqm and a building surface area of 8,500 sqm are available.

In 2007/2008 a second fully automatic 25 MN aluminium extruder was finally commissioned. This makes it possible to produce approx. 17,500 tons of aluminium profiles today.

This also enabled MAGE Gehring GmbH to produce and sell another large sector of energy-saving building insulation, the aluminium substructures for curtain-type back-ventilated facades. In 2008 this resulted in the foundation of the subsidiary MAGE Alu Systems GmbH, which is today the home of this business sector.

Many years of experience in the field of aluminium profiles for solar panels and photovoltaic systems resulted in the foundation of another subsidiary in 2009, MAGE SUNFIXINGS GmbH. Nowadays, this company focuses on business activities in "Attachment systems for solar heating and photovoltaic systems".
